Featuring a more user-friendly form factor, enhanced voice call capabilities, improved night vision, a longer USB cable, and greater mounting flexibility than its predecessor, Sentinare 2.

At the heart of Sentinare is the goal of providing peace of mind to families and caregivers by monitoring the safety of their loved ones, especially those living independently, while respecting their dignity. The Sentinare sensor utilizes an embedded AI chip to track human activities, collect statistical data, and send alerts to the accompanying app when emergencies, such as falls, wandering, hand-waving, overstaying, or absence, are detected.

Prioritizing privacy, Sentinare employs AI technology to convert people into stick figures, transmitting only these simplified representations instead of actual video footage. This approach protects the privacy of users while still providing the necessary visual information, allowing Sentinare to be installed throughout the home, including in bedrooms and bathrooms - areas where most falls occur.

Sentinare's powerful fall detection capabilities can identify falls up to 6 meters (20 feet) away and are even able to detect the gradual falls common among seniors. Additionally, the sensor is unaffected by the presence of pets.

Other key features of Sentinare include face recognition, individual activity tracking, monitoring of restricted regions (for wandering and bed exit), overstay and absence detection, fall risk assessment, hands-free voice calls from the app to the sensor, night vision, and the ability to assign secondary users with limited access. Users can also receive daily or weekly email summaries and access a web interface, as well as take advantage of API integration for third-party applications.

Sentinare's exceptional capabilities have been recognized with prestigious accolades, including being named an Innovation Awards Honoree at CES 2021, the world's largest consumer electronics show. Additionally, Sentinare is one of only three fall detection devices approved by Amazon's Alexa Together emergency service, which will be discontinued in June 2024. However, the AltumView Sentinare system will continue to operate seamlessly beyond this date.

The base plan, with no monthly fee, includes all essential features, such as up to 5 sensors, 3 days of stick-figure recording, 14 days of alert and activity history, and weekly email summaries. An optional subscription plan provides enhanced capabilities, including support for 10 sensors, 90 days of recording and history, daily email updates, and the ability to assign secondary users.
